Activated Carbon Non-Woven Filter Cloth

High-Temperature Resistance, Unmatched Filtration Efficiency!"

Activated Carbon Foam

Activated Carbon Non-Woven Filter Cloth is a high-performance filtration material designed for superior adsorption of gases, odors, and contaminants. Engineered with a combination of non-woven fiber layers and activated carbon particles, this fabric provides efficient removal of volatile organic compounds (VOCs), harmful chemicals, and airborne pollutants. It is widely used in air and water purification, industrial filtration, and medical applications.

What is Activated Carbon Non-Woven Filter Cloth?

Activated Carbon Non-Woven Filter Cloth is a composite material that integrates fine activated carbon particles within a non-woven fiber matrix. This structure enhances the adsorption capacity, effectively trapping impurities and neutralizing odors while allowing air or liquid to pass through efficiently. It is commonly used in filtration systems requiring both particulate removal and chemical adsorption.

Activated Carbon - Shell, Wood, and Coal Based Activated Carbon

The activated carbon can be classified into various types according to the material and shape.

  • Shell-activated carbon. Shell-activated carbon is manufactured from wood chips and shells including coconut shells, walnut shells, and almond shells. Coconut shell-activated carbon is the most popular type.

  • Wood-activated carbon. Manufactured from high quality timber, wood-activated carbon is commonly powder and granular shapes. It is mainly used to absorb impurities in the liquid.

  • Coal-activated carbon. Coal-activated carbon is made from bituminous coal, peat, and anthracite. The shapes of coal-activated carbon are granular and columnar. Coal-activated carbon has high mechanical strength and low cost. It is widely used for poisonous gas purification.

Features & Benefits

  • High Adsorption Efficiency: Effectively removes odors, VOCs, and harmful gases.

  • Superior Chemical Resistance: Absorbs chemical contaminants, making it ideal for industrial and medical use.

  • Excellent Air & Water Filtration: Enhances purification efficiency by capturing fine particles and pollutants.

  • Long-Lasting Performance: Designed for extended use without significant degradation in filtration efficiency.

  • Lightweight & Flexible: Easily adaptable for various applications, including air filters, masks, and water filtration.

  • Antibacterial & Antimicrobial Properties: Helps prevent microbial growth in filtration systems.

Activated Carbon Foam

Activated carbon foam, also known as activated carbon sponge, is a kind of air filter media. The activated carbon foam is constructed from polyurethane sponge and coconut shell or coal activated carbon powder.

High-quality activated carbon is adhered to the polyurethane sponge. The minimum carbon content of activated carbon foam is 50%. The high carbon content can ensure the high filtration and purification efficiency. The activated carbon foam has different pore sizes, which have different air filtering efficiency. The different pore sizes can suit more applications and satisfy more customers.

The activated carbon foam is commonly supplied in sheet, the maximum width is 1m and the maximum length is 2m, the special specifications can be customized.

Sandwich Activated Carbon Filter Cloth

Sandwich activated carbon cloth is also called activated carbon cloth, or activated carbon filter cotton. The sandwich-activated carbon cloth is a three-layer cloth in which the top and bottom layers are non-woven fabric cloth and the middle layer is the high-quality activated carbon powders. The non-woven fabric cloth and activated carbon powders are fastened by high-temperature thermal pressing.

The non-woven fabric cloth of the sandwich activated carbon cloth has two types: one is the needle-punched cotton and the other is PP non-woven cloth. The activated carbon powder in the middle layer can be coconut shell activated carbon powders.
